Hoaxes, Scams and Urban Legends

Recently I received following email.

And there are tons of emails people receive everyday and forward those to their friends and family. I never forward such emails unless I am sure of the information provided is true. And most of the time it turns out to be a hoax. There are two great sites to stay up to date with these hoaxes.
Snopes has tons of urban legends listed updated regularly. The main page has Top 15 Legends. Tons of legends in many different categories. If you think you have uncovered a rumour, you can submit it to them.

Hoax-Slayer is interesting. It not only lists lots of scams, hoaxes and fake warnings but it also has list of true stories. Pretty interesting read.
